I am an Austin, Texas-native living in Paris, France currently pursuing my MFA in Photography and Image-making at Paris College of Art. I began my professional commercial work over 15 years ago and now specialize in work relating to women’s empowerment as well as lifestyle imagery for global brands, small and large businesses, and entrepreneurs like myself - all while capturing the complex stories of interesting people and beautiful locations along the way.

My commercial work spans 1000+ shoots globally, with clients including Bumble, Playboy, Athleta, Walmart, SXSW, Proper Hotels, and more. I’m highly experienced in studio lighting, production, creative direction, and content creation across digital platforms. I was recently named the #1 Lifestyle Photographer in Austin and have completed Artist Residencies in both Madrid and Barcelona.

My artistic work seeks to represent women and their bodies in a nuanced, empowering, and honest fashion, by shooting from a female gaze.

I do this by shooting digital and film portraits of women and their bodies, with an inquisitive and open mindset to glimpse deeper into the internal realities of the subjects, then to externalize and represent those realities with my images. I also shoot self-portraits–digital, film, and Polaroid–that aim to reveal my internal everyday struggles and emotions, often with a touch of humor or poignancy. All of this work aims to normalize parts of the complex female experience that otherwise might be hidden from or overlooked in society.

My work is inspired by artists such as Cindy Sherman, Nan Goldin, Francesca Woodman, Yushi Li, Petra Collins, and more. My aim is to aid in the liberation of women from the oppressive and reductive narratives imposed by the male gaze by using my lens as a means of empowerment.
